Sam Kim was only 6 months old when his parents fled a revolution in their Cambodian homeland in 1988, in search of a safe home for their two boys. It’s not a subject often discussed, but Sam has grown up knowing how to create a life from nothing with hard work and determination. Growing up in the Waikato, Sam made the move to South Auckland in 2001, attending Papatoetoe High School. Little did he know, that some of his best mates at high school would be his inspiration to join the industry he now thrives in - real estate.
A background in hospitality, including owning his own cafe, has built a strong ethos of customer service as well as an in depth knowledge of operating a small business. Moving to Ray White Takanini four years ago has been extremely rewarding, with Sam achieving Executive Salesperson Status last year, calling his work his ‘new found passion’. He’s highly motivated, and exercises utmost professionalism at all times. Particularly proud of his working environment, he says that the support you’ll receive from him, his experienced team and their extensive networks in the industry will be second to none. One of the main benefits you’ll enjoy when you employ Sam’s services is that in addition to getting a great agent, you’ll be getting a great guy too. Extremely genuine, easy to talk to with no pretenses, you can trust that he’ll do what he promises, every time.
A man of many talents, Sam’s creative side finds him spending a couple of hours a week in the kitchen of one of the Metro’s Top 50 eateries, Cornwall Park Restaurant, where he indulges his love of cooking, and gives him all the skills required to be the favourite choice among his friends when dinnertime rolls around.
