Upon his arrival from India in 2010, Uday Bawa had specific goals. Immersing himself in study immediately, he achieved a Diploma in Business, all the while working at a major outdoor clothing retailer. Never losing sight of his purpose, he then enrolled in a Bachelor of Property. His degree, due for completion mid next year, complements his chosen profession, informing him about real estate, marketing, management, valuation, finance, investing, development and building surveyance.
Though Uday knew his calling was in the property industry, he recognised he would never enjoy sitting in an office, and wanted to find his perfect niche. A chance meeting with the owner of Ray White Takanini, who believed he would make an excellent salesperson, was all he needed. It turned out to be a great decision. In his first twelve months alone, he’s proved his suitability for the role, achieving the distinction of Ray White’s Executive Salesperson status. Uday says it’s allowed him to thrive; meeting new people every day, building relationships, independence, and offering him freedom to move.
It would be hard to go wrong with Uday as your real estate advisor; a proven work ethic with a solid background in customer service, plus qualifications which benefit you with comprehensive knowledge about anything you'll need for your property requirements. His recommendations on planning and marketing strategies will offer you confidence that you’re always one step ahead. Furthermore, he has a skill for understanding people and how to bring them together, making such strong connections with clients that they maintain contact long after the sale is complete. He appreciates that human connectedness and unsurpassed service are essential cornerstones of the real estate industry.
A pioneering spirit with a passion for trying anything new, Uday lived rurally for three years which taught him a lot about rural properties. He considers it to be the ultimate New Zealand experience and rates the Franklin area as up there with the best. More recently, his family has drawn him to the shores of East Auckland, broadening his residential exposure. To keep a healthy balance in life, Uday played competitive basketball at a national level, swimming at district level and cricket at street level while in India. In keeping with his character, however, he has recently developed a new passion - the typically New Zealand sport of rock climbing.
