Handpicked by South Auckland real estate mogul Sue Douglas, it’s pretty clear that Uros Bojovic has some serious potential. Chosen at just 18-years-old for a rare cadetship with Ray White, mentored by Ray White Takanini partner, Peter Belcher and Sue herself, this up and comer is destined for success.
Immigrating from Serbia with his family at the age of 8, he’s been a South Auckland local ever since. Growing up, he was the always the boy setting up homemade stalls on his street and connecting with people from his neighbourhood. As time went on, he found school increasingly restrictive, remembering "I just wanted to get out in the world and achieve.” When his parents wouldn’t let him leave school early, he accomplished a remarkable feat; simultaneously attending school while holding down a full-time job, working all weekend and four to five hours after school.
Described by Peter as “an extremely personable young man who could talk to anyone”, it’s Uros’ energy that he finds most extraordinary. The combination of an impeccable work ethic, high energy, intrinsic self-motivation and genuine enthusiasm is a winning formula. Over the next 18 months, Uros will learn not just how to be a great salesperson but will receive a comprehensive grounding in all aspects of the property business.
As in his professional life, Uros has strong personal focus. Experienced in martial arts, he also attends the gym daily. His Serbian heritage makes family an utmost priority, dedicating rare time off to his parents, two brothers, and when time permits, his close circle of trusted friends.
