Relationship Manager - Team Garry Singh
Ursula Boyd’s decision to move to the real estate industry after more than three decades in the flamboyant world of hair and fashion might seem improbable. The former high-end hairdresser is certain she's made one of her best decisions yet.
Ultimately a simple choice, Ursula was offered a brand new role tailored to suit both parties equally; Pipeline Manager for extraordinary sales performer, Garry Singh. Ursula works out of Ray White’s illustrious Takanini branch as a vital part of his four-strong-team, assessing the group’s strategic flow, relationship building and database management. Very much a ‘people person’, the position is ideally suited to Ursula’s optimistic nature and high energy levels. Reflecting that her most significant professional rewards have always come from facilitating growth, she prides herself on actively seeking fresh, modern ways to achieve progressive business development.
Impressed by the friendly, collaborative, and results-oriented culture synonymous with the Ray White CSI Group, Ursula is contributing with a multitude of transferable skills. Her previous experience as a mother, qualified adult teacher and two-time salon owner in an often highly strung environment has worked in her favour with a finely honed aptitude for organisation, staff management and diplomacy. Constantly eager to learn, Ursula demonstrated her ability to work hard, adapt and get ahead when she obtained a Diploma in Adult Teaching at 40. She also put words into actions, going on to tutor in upmarket establishments like Servilles Academy, Toni & Guy and Vevo.
Freely admitting she doesn’t like to sit still, Ursula applies equal passion in her personal life. She commits to a regular fitness schedule with daily visits to the gym, running and walking which offers her a relaxed headspace when the going gets tough. Family ties are strongly nourished; her son is a professional rugby player currently living in France, and her daughter plays high-level representative netball for Counties Manukau. Ursula and her husband frequently attend sporting and numerous social events with friends.
